Dropping data detail on longer date ranges

I am having an issue with a report that I use for page views from GA4. The report works fine for relatively short time ranges e.g. 1-3 months. But when I increase the date range, data detail begins to drop off of the report. I have the report set to show 10 series and group the rest. You can see from the 3 clips here that the data-detail for the end of the range gradually gets “truncated” as the date range gets larger. Only the grouped “Other” series shows data. Refreshing the data makes no difference and I have scoured all the editable settings for the chart. There is also a linked table showing the data in a data table, showing just total views.

I have downloaded the underlying data and it confirms that the only data-detail in the later dates is the “Others” group.

I am wondering if this is a data-size limitation of the Looker Report? The data is by no means enormous, as you can see from the view numbers.

That is so weird. It looks like something else is limiting that data to always be 4 months. I agree that that doesn’t seems like a default limitation of Looker Studio. Are you sure there isn’t another filter or limitation on one of the dimensions or measures?

Thanks for your reply, Sam8.

I have scoured every place I can think of to see if there is a “filter” or other limiting factor, to no avail. Do you have a suggestion as to where I could look? As you know, there is a ton of configurability and functionality in there and I by no means am an expert.

One thing to note is that the later data gets truncated and not the earlier, which would seem counter intuitive.
