Do we need downtime for adding new apigee datacenter?

Hello,

I have two existing apigee OPDK datacenter which are synchronizing. I would like to add one more datacenter. My existing datacenters are already on live and so there should not be any down time.

To add a new datacenter, there are some steps that I need to run setup script for cassandra components in existing datacenters. I think if we run the setup script one by one, there should not not any downtime.

But I would like to make sure. Can anyone help confirm if I need downtime for existing datacenters’ runtime?

I am not an OPDK expert, but

YES, your understanding is correct - no downtime. The OPDK team here at Google is super solid and all of their maintenance / upgrade approaches are no-downtime scenarios. We have a number of “always on” customers and they demand it.
