I want to be able to call via google voice within my app. I have integrated this via a ‘dial’ action as per the solution here https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Tips-Tricks/Initiate-calls-from-Google-Voice/m-p/245826 (thanks @peterdykstra ).
It’s working great at allowing outgoing calls via google voice.
I have a table of employees as per the screenshot below. You can see where we’d expect the integration to be triggered with the little paper airplane - which it is.
Here is the problem. The action is also triggered when you click on the customer’s name itself or the related TNotes (such as clicking on the name ‘Karl Kistler’ opens up google voice to call him) in this view. I have lost the ability to see the full details for an employee (and then edit the entry), from the table view that appears below. Before I added the dial action I could click on a person’s name and it would bring up the filled-in detailed form for that person that would also have an edit action available at the bottom. It’s like the dial action sort of took over.
Any ideas as to how to limit the dial action so that it is triggered only by the paper airplane? Thanks!
