Design Background PDF Attachment

I am using a google docs template to make a PDF attachment. So I have a question about design of this template.
I tried to add a background to the PDF, but I added a “watermark” (I don’t know if that is right =, in french it’s “filigrane”) but on the PDF my background is not here. So I tried to insert a picture and place it behind the text. But that made the same result.
How can I add a background on my PDF ?

Hi @Kibishi47 (ou bonjour ?)

As far as I know (and tried), you can’t, even if it’s not said in the documentation.

Here are more informations about such limitations:

@Lauren_vdv Do you know who could update the documentation with this limitation ? (unless I’m wrong)

@Steve

Thank you for tagging me!
(Sorry for the delay in responding – I forgot to press send on this response! :confused: )

I’ve update the Google Docs template article to indicate that background and watermark images are not supported at this time (link).

I’ve also reached out to the AppSheet dev team to see if this an enhancement that they might consider in the future.

Thanks for the original post and for the support!
