delayed sync behavior

Hi!
I have a two questions about delayed sync in AppSheet sync settings.

①My understanding is that delayed sync does not work for a while even if the data is saved, and it will be synchronized after a certain period of time. However, in my app the sync seems to work immediately after saving the data. Is this behavior correct?

② The time required for sync differs greatly depending on whether delayed sync is set or not. (delayed sync is very short) Is this because there is less data taken in synchronization?

normal sync setting →about 10sec in my app
delayed sync setting →about 2sec in my app

So my understanding is that with delayed sync turned on, when you click save the app will try to upload the data straight away. But in the background, so you can keep using the app. Then approx every 30mins it will do a background sync to get any new data from the spreadsheet. But this 30min background sync doesnt’ update the apps version - you have to do a manual sync to do that.
