Delay on conversational agents (dialogflow cx)

hello everyone,
i am using Dialogflow CX - Conversational Agents.
I have created a voice bot that i’m calling to, that goes to a playbook with a tool. The model is gemini 2.5 flash, the tool contains pdf documents with information to the user.
I’m not using any webhooks or generators. For some reason, i’m having between 5-8 seconds of silence until the bot reponses back to me after anything i ask , even when i ask a question that does not need the tool. the silence is there whether the bot uses the tool or not.
i have tried changing the settings , but still no luck. it used to work on gemini 1.5 ..
