Default date setting in looker dashboard not working

Hi all,

I am having “Run date” as control field in the looker dashboard and having scorecard and tables in the page.

I am planning to set the default date as TODAY for the scorecard and tables while opening the page.

I tried two ways to set up this feature,

  1. I set the “Default date range filter” as custom TODAY individually to scorecard and tables, but in the “Run date” control field drop down when I select other dates I am getting NO DATE in the scorecard and tables.

  2. I tried setting the “Default date range filter” as custom TODAY on “Run date” control filed, but still I am not seeing other dates in drop down.

Could you please guide me on this without using the “Date range control” whether its possible or not.

Is the default data view as Today available while opening the page in only available in Enterprise version
