Date range based on variable fields

Hi, I have the following situation:

  • one table with energy generation per day;
  • other table with billing records, with dates that applies to, initial and final dates, like e.g. from june 7th to july 7th.

I want to have the graph showing the values between these two dates only, initial and final.
On the configuration I could not find a way to set up this variable date range, based on these two values on a second table.

Please, any help?

Are you trying to accomplish this in Looker Studio or Looker?

In Looker Studio, I’m pretty sure this isn’t possible. I’d recommend submitting a feature request.

For Looker…there may be a way, but it would be tricky. I think you could use a filter type field and liquid variable reference to get this to work.
