As titled, on one dashboard the date filter ‘control type’ always shows as ‘advanced’ despite ‘timeframes’ being selected when I got in to edit. I have deleted and readded the filter but no change.

It looks like the issue might be related to using the wrong field for filtering.
Here’s a clearer way to fix it:

Click on your table to open its properties on the right side.

In the Setup panel, find the Date Range Dimension option.

Drag and drop the same Date field you used in your chart into this section.
For example, I used a date field in my chart and added a date control for filtering.
I’ve also attached screenshots for reference.
