How to I report that Google Ads connection both direct and through supermetrics is having filtering issues?
I want to exclude spend from specific campaigns, but it’s not working. No errors, just not filtering out. I’ve disconnected, reconnected, and tried different connections. I’m a seasoned data studio user and it has worked in the past.
This may be caused by the campaign field used in the filter, especially if blended data or renamed dimensions are involved. Test the exclusion on a simple table using the native Google Ads connector, confirm the filter uses the exact Campaign dimension and exclusion condition, and check for null values or mixed data types. If the same filter fails in a fresh report with the direct connector, submit it through Help → Report a problem in Looker Studio and include the report ID, connector type, affected campaign names, and screenshots.
