Data connectors for Looker

Hi,

I’m exploring the Looker features in order to evaluate this BI technology.

I’d like to know which are the Looker data connector for importing data.

For example, could I importing data from an Oracle database on-premise or a MS SQL Server database on-premise or a MySQL database on-premise and so on?

Which on-premise data sources could I use with Looker?

Does it exist a data connector list?

How could I connect Locker to an on-premise data source? By a gateway?

Any helps to me, please? Many thanks

Remember that Looker doesn’t import any data. Data extraction & loading from your production database to a data warehouse has to happen outside of Looker environment (you don’t want to point Looker to your production database).

Looker does not keep any of the data, it’s a front-end framework that allows you to talk to your data warehouse / database and its code modelling layer allows you to move between dialects if you ever have to do that.
