Dashboard-next doesn’t currently have description option in the settings panel
Revert to dashboard legacy, add description in the setting panel and then upgrade to dashboard-next again.

This does not seem to work anymore. The “Revert to legacy dashboard” does no longer exist.
@ruth_mcelroy I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong or you are unaware but I’m also not able to vote on anything without having a pendo account that cannot be created unless I pay for it.
Does strike me as inconvenient for a tool asking your customers for votes

So there is a way we can still view a dashboard in the legacy mode without needing the revert to legacy option; if you change the dashboard type reference in the url from https://host_domain.com/dashboards-next/…..etc to https://host_domain.com/dashboards/…..etc, you can then edit in this mode, and click to update the settings here to give a description.
For pendo, this should be available for developers and Admins. If you have one of these roles, and are having issues accessing the link, if you could try log into your instance and click the Help menu > Product Idea? this should bring you to your Pendo account. You can then search the url above in that session, or the case number 49159 in Pendo.
