Dashboard Ignoring the filter value and showing all results

Our database is BigQuery and Built a dashboard using LookML. A field account number is passed with - where filter value is completely ignored.

It seems that -Dress will make the SQL become <> Dress

Any thoughts? Appreciate your assistance
