Creating Slice to reorder Virtual Columns to increase degree of parallelism

My question: Does one want to reorder them with the slowest being at the top or the bottom of the column list. ?

No. You’re barking up the wrong tree here, with whatever you’re trying to do (increase performance?).

Degree of parallelism is dictated by your plan type I believe, pay more for more parallelism. (but I could be wrong)
