Connection to RDP shows blank screen and disconnects

Hi All,

Right now i am having an windows machine running in GCE where i am frequently receiving the issue of unable to take RDP to the windows machine and if i connect also it shows only black screen and disconnects. If i re-start the VM the issue gets resolved and after some time the issue begins again. Please provide me with valid resolution to overcome and resolve the issue permanently. Thanks in advance

Not a Winblows expert here but I’d say to start by checking the Events Log and see if anything goes haywire with the RDP service on that VM.

I doubt Google does any magic with RDP apart from forwarding your requests to the instance.

But if nothing comes up on the logs go ahead a raise a support ticket with GCP.

Checked for logs and couldn’t find anything. Is there any possible cause for the issue to occur?
