Confused by dual Inputs display in Editor for Bot Automation

Hi,

In this process im trying to use Inputs, but it displays in 2 different location on the Editor and makes me so confused which to use.

Is this a bug or is it actually a new feature?

1. These are the inputs the action accepts (e.g., Previous Shift) and expressions to produce their default values if no value is provided (e.g., [Shift Type ID]):
   

   

2. This is a bot process step, Switch shift for this employee, that Runs a data action with a name that begins [BUTTON] SHIFT__Schedule (shown at the bottom) (seemingly the action (1)). The action accepts inputs, and this step is (as shown here) providing blank values for two inputs.
   

   

3. This is what the action (1) does with the input values it receives when performed as by step (2): it sets two column values, each from the value of an input.

I wonder what what will happen if i enter 2 diferent set of values on 2) and 3). I might as well test this case to check the outcome.

(3) is not required to use the input values.
