My communities list in the sidebar no longer helpfully shows new and unread, and now unhelpfully shows me merely that I’ve joined them? Why the downgrade?
Despite this setting in my preferences:
Now I have to click into each community to see if there are any new posts.
@Steve - Thank you for making us aware of this. We did deploy an update to the Side Nav, we did notice the new count was missing. We are in the process of getting that corrected.

@Steve - We have decided to revert the change. You should see the Categories section back in the Side Nav and the new post count should be visible.
