Hello,
I upgraded my Google Cloud account from free trial to paid billing on January 22, 2026 at 11:00 PM EET. It has now been over 50 hours, and my GPU quotas for Cloud Run remain at 0 in all supported regions.
Project Information:
- Target GPU: nvidia-l4
- Regions tested: us-central1, us-east4, europe-west4, europe-west1, asia-southeast1
Current Status:
In the Quotas page, both GPU allocation quotas show:
- Total Nvidia L4 GPU allocation (with zonal redundancy): Value = 0, Adjustable = No
- Total Nvidia L4 GPU allocation (without zonal redundancy): Value = 0, Adjustable = No
Error Message:
When attempting deployment:
ERROR: You do not have quota for using GPUs without zonal redundancy
Steps Taken:
- Verified billing account is active and charged
- Confirmed other Cloud Run quotas are functional
- Contacted billing support (advised to wait for automatic activation)
- Waited 50+ hours (documentation suggests 24-48 hours)
- Tested deployment in all 5 L4-supported regions
Question:
Is there a manual review process needed for GPU quota activation on new paid accounts? The “Not Adjustable” status prevents me from requesting an increase through the normal quota request form.
According to Cloud Run documentation, GPU quotas should be automatically granted for paid accounts. Is there a typical timeframe I should expect, or does this require manual intervention?
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!
