This is what you need to do, if you would like to close your Google Developer Program forums account. Please make sure that this is what you want to do, before following the instructions. These steps will only close your Google Developer Program forums account; this will not impact your Google Developer Program account.
- In order to delete your account, click on your avatar image and then on Preferences from the drop-down.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Preferences>Account page and click on the Delete My Account option.
- This will bring up a message that explains that you will not be able to undo this action and your account will be permanently deleted.
- Carefully read the warning message. If you are absolutely sure that you want to close your account, after reading the warning, click the Delete My Account option.
- If you have contributions and are unable to close your account via your community profile, please complete this form.
