I’m facing an issue in Looker Studio where we have overlapping bar charts to display both percentage and absolute values.
While the charts are perfectly aligned initially, applying any control filter (e.g., filtering by project or anything similar) causes misalignment, and the charts no longer overlap as intended and gets mis-aligned.
Key Points:
- Overlapping charts for percentage and absolute values.
- Data is blended from multiple BigQuery tables.
- Issue occurs only when a filter is applied (e.g., for specific projects like Haleon, Maserati, etc.).
- Charts work perfectly without filters.
Question:
Has anyone successfully managed perfect alignment of overlapping charts in Looker Studio with applied filters? Are there specific settings or workarounds to maintain alignment?
We have already worked on list items provided by GPT.
Any help except that or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
For Reference:
- Perfectly aligned chart (Before any applied control field/ Filter)
Distorted and mis-aligned chart in the same report. (After applied filter)
