I just returned to working on the report after having spent a couple hours editing the source spreadsheet to find the setup box blank on this page. The problem persists if I duplicate the page, however the other pages I have connected to that source seem to work fine.
apparently this is what happens when you change the name of the source sheet and forget about it!
