Does it work in SQL Runner with enabled visualisation panel?

SQL runner is part of looker (enterprise) and not looker studio.
we do have native looker connector available insode looker studio.

No, the Chart Config Editor doesn’t work in SQL Runner (if this was your question). I have just checked:

  • You can access the ‘Edit Chart Config’ button in the chart settings.
  • You can even apply saved templates / edit the code and preview the changes. This all works correctly.
  • But when you press ‘Apply’ and exit the chart config editor, it doesn’t actually apply any of the overrides to the viz - it stays the same.

Yes that’s what I have noticed but it is not documented so hopefully somebody from Looker can confirm it’s intended
