I am curious if there is a map that has lists of names for the different zones that can be affected in a DPA. For example I have several CBSDs that are in a DPA area, and when a suspended grant occurs, I see a message about different areas that are in the zone, such as this:
Move list
Alameda: 3620–3630 MHz Alameda: 3630–3640 MHz Alameda: 3640–3650 MHz West8: 3620–3630 MHz West8: 3630–3640 MHz West8: 3640–3650 MHz West9: 3620–3630 MHz West9: 3630–3640 MHz West9: 3640–3650 MHz
I know I am not in the Alameda zone, so how do I know if I am in zone West8 or West9? Is there any documentation about this?
The SAS places a grant on a DPA movelist if it determines that interference from that grant might affect the DPA in question. As a result, which DPA movelists a device is placed on will depend on multiple factors, including: location, azimuth, beamwidth, height, geographical features of the area, and aggregate interference in an area. It is therefore very difficult to use a map to determine which DPA movelists a grant will be placed on before the grant is requested. The grant you mentioned appears to be on several movelists. If this is the first day the grant was requested, I would suggest you hold the grant until after CPAS. Grants are often removed from some or all DPA movelists after the first CPAS has occurred.
