Cannot see third party data sources when creating a connector for Vertex AI

I am following the instructions on this page to connect my Confluence instance with Vertex AI. Connect a third-party data source | Vertex AI Agent Builder | Google Cloud

I am instructed to create a new data store and select Confluence from the list of third party data stores but the section does not exist.

What needs to be enabled for Confluence to show up?

Based on the documentation, your project needs to be allowlisted to use third-party data source connectors. With this, you may contact your Google account team (if you have) or Google Cloud Support to request access to this feature.
