Can we connect to Apigee RPM repo using proxy settings on the linux box?

Hi @Anil Sagar, @Maudrit,

We are trying to install Apigee on a VM that does not have direct connectivity to internet. We can set https_proxy in the session and can connect to internet. Will this help connect to RPM and download the installables? Also will this setting, if done permenantly, help getting the updates from the repo, if they are pushed or notified by repo?

Yes you can connect with proxy server. I recommend updating proxy setting in yum.conf along with https_proxy.

You should be able to connect and get updates from the repository but won’t get notification. We generally make public announcements about private cloud releases and you can run update steps to update to latest rpms.
