Can non-enterprise users still access gemini, nano banana, and veo models on the newly rebranded vertex ai -> agent platform?

Hello, i received an email about the vertex ai rebrand stating that it’s now part of the gemini enterprise agent platform.

we announced the evolution of the Vertex AI Platform into the Gemini Enterprise suite. As part of this transition, Vertex AI Platform is now part of the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

I’m a solo developer using vertex ai for my personal and small projects (via a personal gmail account), mainly for accessing and fine-tuning models from model garden, like gemini, nano banana.

with this shift toward “enterprise,” i’m a bit confused:
will individual developers still be able to access and fine-tune models as usual?
are there any changes to availability, access, or requirements for non-enterprise users?

Would appreciate any clarification. thanks!

Essentially, Vertex AI has evolved into the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, but my understanding is that it remains accessible to all Google Cloud users, including those on personal Gmail accounts.

You can still access and fine-tune models exactly as you did before. The “Enterprise” label refers more to the suite of new features (like advanced governance, agent security, and persistent “Memory Banks”) rather than a restriction on who can use the platform.
