One of my apps is remembering what the last page a user saw in the app and takes them to that old record even when the app starting view is given as a specific view the app completely ignores it and takes them to the old view and the last record that user edited, what’s required to happen is every time they open the app they should go to the main page, have you come across this and how have you solved it,
PS. Sync on start is already turned on if that helps

So its the browser caching the App as though it was a webpage. If they clear the temporary internet files and refresh the browser tab this should fix it. Long term, consider using a browser like Firefox where you can set it to not cache files for specific websites.

Not possible.
Starting View is only for the very first time that a user opens the app.
Starting view used to work like that ,but it no longer does unfortunately.
Thanks all for the replies, the only workaround I could give them was to manually change the link I sent in over 40 email templates to take each one of them to the desired view I wish there was a toggle to make appsheet forget the cache data and start fresh everytime you open in a new tab
