Bug report - Enum with Ref as Base Type, Referenced Table Name Not Showing

If a column is set to “Enum” type, with “Ref” as the Base Type, then the “Referenced Table Name” dropdown option doesn’t appear subsequently. You’d have to save the app, which refreshes the page, and reopen the “Enum” column, scroll down and then “referenced table name” dropdown now appears.

At the end of day it doesn’t cause functionality issue, but it could be confusing to those who don’t know they’d have to save the app and reopen the Enum field.

I’m also relatively new to Appsheet so it could also be something I’m doing wrong . Curious to see if anybody else also thinks it’s a bug.

It’s not anything you are doing wrong. I also believe it to be bug.

Its already known and there is no intension of changing it last I had seen.

Good to know thank you, that’s to bad. At least it’s more of an inconvenience rather than a functionality issue.

I think it might be some level of how they coded it to work so the drop down I believe just doesn’t exist until the save its not that its just hidden or not showing or hidden behind something. Dont quote me
