I am reporting a critical and widespread regression bug that started for my profile on Thursday, October 2, 2025, the day I received the new Looker Studio frontend interface (UI overhaul).
The issue affects multiple parameters in my reports (including our currency selection parameter and others that use a List of Values, e.g., text or number types with defined options). All these controls are incorrectly flagged with an “Invalid” error in Edit Mode, even though the parameters’ backend logic works perfectly. The reports calculate data and filter records accurately.
This is not a configuration error. Troubleshooting, including clearing the cache, testing in multiple environments, and creating new parameters (both Text and Number types), has failed to resolve the visual error. This bug is clearly tied to the new UI rollout for specific user profiles, as internal peers on the old interface do not have this problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this ‘Invalid’ parameter error since receiving the new UI on or around October 2nd?
