This is my daily bug report.. (sadly I need to report newly found bug daily these days)
With the GA to new desktop UX, we got the new functionality to create new Looker Studio report from the selected AppSheet table. See below image to initiate this process.
Once we hit the action of this, the Looker Studio is opened and the sandbox report is generate by connecting the selected table as data source. However, this behavior no longer available, so I would call this is another bug.
Please test this with your own environment.
Once we hit this action, then new Looker Studio report is indeed generated. However no data source is attached to the new report. So we need to select the data source ONCE AGAIN (select AppSheet particular app and table) to add to the new report.
This is not your intended behavior. All in all, newly introduced bug.
Hope this is going to be fixed soon.
