Hi, Apigee account is “applift”. On the UI under Admin → Billing Account I see correct billing address that I updated about 2 months ago but I keep receiving invoices with the outdated billing address. Invoices that were issued in February and March have to be corrected, otherwise we can’t report them to German government. Please help fix this
I tried other ways to contact support but none worked so far, if you know a better way please tell
Thanks,
Vlad
Whew, that sounds frustrating.
I hate to say this but I cannot help you with billing or billing configuration issues.
The way to do it is to contact GCP support. There is a specific team that handles billing support. They are the right people. I don’t have permissions to look at your billing account, and most people don’t. (Understandable). But that team has the right controls and rights to be able to look at it and help you.
You can contact GCP support using one of the ways described on this page.
This is what I get:
When trying to submit the form mentioned I get this error:
How do I find my hexadecimal billing ID?
Your billing ID applies to Apigee X, as well as all other things in Google Cloud. Networking, storage, VMs, GKE, Cloud Armor, and so on. The form of the billing ID is as shown in that error message… three stanzas of six digits. Eg, 123456-456789-7890AB
To find your ID, visit https://console.cloud.google.com/billing
You may not have rights / permissions to view your organization’s Google Cloud billing account!
In that case you need to find your own “organization contact” to get the billing account ID.
Thanks, dchiesa1,
I don’t see any billing account under that link, only a button to add a new one. I clicked around, changed organization to the one available to me, but there are no existing billing accounts no matter what I click.
Some context: our Apigee account was created sometime in September 2017, perhaps it wasn’t fully migrated to Google? We’ve never had to deal with any Google service in regards to Apigee and there were definitely changes to the billing method in the past years which were successful.
Somehow the money is still being charged and invoices are still being sent every month without me ever knowing of a hexadecimal billing ID and I’m the only one managing the subscription for the company. All I need is to change two lines in the invoices (the office moved), I did what I had to do and encountered a bug
If I have to create a billing account I will, but first I would love a firm confirmation that it would help. So far it seems to me that our Apigee account exists in the ether and it won’t magically connect to the new billing account
ok thanks for that… My suggestion to go to console.cloud.google.com is not helpful.
I will contact you directly to explain further, and to get you connected with the people who can resolve this for you.
