There is a serious bug in the new interface (in ALL apps, so AppSheet support please get your developers to test it!)
Source Path > Browse for Data works in the OLD UI not in the latest!
When you choose Browse for Data nothing is loaded and the background to the screen is greyed out.
Here is a screen shot of the area in the app that does not load the file browser in chrome
