I have two AppSheet programs. One is an older version where the display name of the actions is bold. In a newer, updated version, I can’t; I’m unable to make the display name of the actions bold.

Include your images in your post directly. I’m not going to visit some random site to see them and risk malware.
You are correct! I do not know/remember how this worked in the past. Currently, none of the Text Formatting is getting applied to the Action Name. See image below.
I see no reason why these Text Format settings can’t be applied and if you have evidence it was allowed in the past then I have to think that this is a regression bug - that someone didn’t carry over previous functionality into newer implementations of the platform.
