Hi everyone,
My team is building an Indic-language, real-time AI voice agent that utilizes Gemini 3.1 Flash Live (via WebSockets) for continuous audio processing and Vertex AI Vector Search for RAG context injection.
We have successfully prototyped our core logic. As we plan our transition to a production backend, I have a few questions regarding infrastructure migration and the Google for Startups (GFS) program. Has anyone here navigated these specific hurdles recently?
-
AI Studio Migration: What is the recommended pipeline to migrate system prompts and logic built entirely in Google AI Studio into a formalized Google Cloud Project (e.g., Vertex AI API endpoints) while retaining our configurations?
-
Free Trial vs. GFS Eligibility: We are currently using the standard GCP free trial credits to test our WebSocket server and Vector Search endpoints. Does utilizing these standard trial credits disqualify us from applying for the GFS Start Tier ($2,000)?
-
Pre-Incorporation Status: We operate with a custom business domain and a functioning MVP, but we are not formally incorporated yet. Is formal incorporation a strict prerequisite for the Start Tier, or can early-stage, unincorporated entities still access these credits?
Any guidance, documentation links, or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful. Thanks
