Barcode scanner set time relay for about 3-5 seconds before auto saved action

Hello
I have made a Barcode scanner app with the auto save form but I would like to set delay time for 3-5 seconds before the auto save action will work. I have try to find the solution and similar idea how to do this.

First thank you for your reply ,in fact I would like to have a delay time in order to see if the face of the person match with the picture on the form or not.

If a person needs to verify the match then I would suggest NOT to auto-save.
