Automated emails occasionally not working

I have an automation that sends an email with a pdf attachment when a field is updated. This action worked perfect until around august or September of this year and then it started occasionally not sending emails. I can go and change the field again and sometimes it will trigger and send an email and sometimes it will never send the email. When I look at automation monitor it looks like everything is triggering and there are no faults or errors. Occasionally I will get a warning in the audit log history but I am not sure it is related to not getting emails.

I am having similar issues. The email delivery has been working fine all along and recently, there ware instances that the recipients are not able to receive the email. Please help to check on this as this emails sent are very important for us.

By any chance are these users in the CC or BCC?

no..

all emails stop being received about after 4am this morning Singapore time.. it affected all my app.

all this while is ok until this morning.

pls help as we need these email.

Yeah, same here. But i do received some scheduled automation emails. but the triggered automation is not working on my end.

pls help on this as the orders email are being sent to multiple vendors, very difficult for us to check and do it manually.

Does the Audit History or Automation monitor show any warning?

all show completed.

looks like we are starting to receive the emails.

we need to know what happened and how to prevent this. is it at AppSheet side?

I have contacted the support and It’s now working well. Intermittent issues according to them.

looks like not fully recovered. still have missing triggered emails.

No. It only goes to one email and it works most of the time. It would be easier to diagnose if it always failed but that is not the case.

Thanks. I’m currently experiencing it again.

I got the email reply from AppSheet saying it’s recovered and to monitor.

the issue is that we won’t know if the supplier gets all the email being sent. how to monitor?

how AppSheet can identify the cause for this.

That’s the nature of email–it’s not guaranteed. You might want to consider another method.
