Does anyone know how to make Numbers stop saving automatically when they are set as quick edit columns in a detail view?

Ummm… Saving automatically is the specific point of quick edit columns. Perhaps you should use a form view instead?

I would like to use a form view but I cannot replace the system-generated detail view with a form view. My end-users are complaining that syncs happen too often and it slows them down.

The syncing done by a quick edit column shouldn’t even be noticeable to the user. What syncs are they referring to?
