I am proposing an update to Google Translate. As a healthcare provider, I need to be able to communicate with those who are hard of hearing or cannot speak. I suggest that there be an added “language” to Google Translate: ASL.
To use, one would type the English as the input and then Google Translate would generate a video of the ASL interpretation with closed captioning in the bottom of the video, as the output. This could be added to Google Translate or could be an entire app of it’s own.
I would love to see this implemented. Thank you.
