AppSheet Sign-In Issue on Android Phones

Is anyone currently experiencing an issue where they are unable to sign in to their Gmail/Google Workspace account through the AppSheet mobile application on Android?

The same account works successfully when signing in through Chrome on a desktop.

Error :

Already follow this process: Google sign in warning - AppSheet Help
but still not working .

Having the same error in South Africa

Tried different users and all doing the same

Have you logged this with Google? I am currently talking to support. Some of my users are experiencing exactly this.

Yes, this is affecting my SA users too. Other regions seem to be fine.

Jip, spoke to support also and they said they are investigating

Here in Japan, I had a class of students using a template app that they copied from me. A little more than half were able to use the apps on their phones but quit a few were not. Same error message you indicated. Personally, I am able to use my app on Android and on iOS.

One theory: I have versions of the AppSheet app that I downloaded previously. Perhaps newer versions of the app downloaded freshly don’t work.

Nope: Just tried that. Was able to use it on my iOS tablet. But lots of students were unable to use their apps and I couldn’t do anything to help them.

Closing the loop on this thread…

Thanks for your attention. Could you please reply to the queries on the other thread? The issue may indeed be solved but your explanation regarding the cause doesn’t seem to fit with what I and some others have experienced.

I understand. I will circle back with the engineering team and if they tell me something different I will share it with you.
