Hello,

I hope you can help me.

I have three column named “Bank Deposit Date”, “Official Receipt Date” and “Note”.

Example the Bank deposit date is March 14, 2022 but the OR Date is March 12, 2022, I want to automatically show in NOTE column that it is a “Delayed Remittance” since it is already past 24 hours. Is this possible in AppSheet? Thanks in advance!

I prefer a VC in your case because a physical col requires the row to be edited for recalculation.

Depending on the type of your field Note, it can be as simple as

[Bank Deposit Date] > [Official Receipt Date]

which gives you a yes/no value.

For a Text type, you can use an IF expression to return a text such as

IF([Bank Deposit Date] > [Official Receipt Date], “Delayed Remittance”, “whatever you want to display otherwise”)

You can also use IFS, SWITCH to display multiple texts depending on various conditions.
