Afternoon,
I have created an Appsheet application which is designed to be shared with an entire business, however, in order for everyone to access this application we need to turn on “Appsheet” within Google Administration tools.
Turning on Appsheet for everyone in our domain allows the users to access the application, but, it then allows them to create applications (through google sheets) and this is going to be an issue for us as there could be a number of applications floating around the business that we don’t know about.
There seems to be no way to just allow users to use the application without having Appsheet turned on in the Google domain, apart from making the application public facing, which is a security vulnerability.
Within Google Admin it is simply just an on/off switch with no way to say whether a user will get creation or view permissions to applications, image below:
We have tried connecting to the Appsheet usage API, so that we would then be able to see who is creating applications if we turned this on, but due to our license (Core license) we do not have this functionality.
Does anyone know a way to allow an entire domain to access an Appsheet application but with the restriction to create applications?
