I am having issues with a CSV import, where every time I impose a ValidIf condition on a particular field, the system kicks-out this error.
Here is some context. I’ve got 3 tables, Events, Students, and Event Attendees. The Event Attendees references the Events and Students table (but not through a “Ref” field, just text fields that I’m setting ValidIf conditions to limit their options to Events[Event Name] & Students[Student ID])
I am able to manually enter data and limit the Student ID field of the Event Attendees data to the options in the Student table; however, when I attempt a CSV import with the same information, I get the error above. The Event Name does not throw this error, despite having functionally the same format and ValidIf condition (i.e. Student ID is label & Row ID is key for Students, just as Event Name is the label and Row ID is the Key for Events).
Other notes if relevant for debugging:
- Student ID is a 7 digit number, but is set as a Text type variable
- Event Name is Text of any size
- If I remove the ValidIf condition on Student ID, the data imports fine and links to the Student table perfectly
- If I re-instate the ValidIf condition after importing, the imported data passes the Test condition of the ValidIf
- To my understanding, there are no differences in the settings of the Event Name or Student ID column in Event Attendees table beyond their ValidIf condition
Any help on this would mean a lot, as I’ve been banging my head at this for days!
