App sheet drop downs from google sheets data validation

I have some drop downs in my google sheets that are created using the data validation drop down from a range. The range is a separate sheet called validation.

In my app sheet app, I have allowed the option to add a value to the drop down list. Is there a way to also add this new drop down option to my validation sheet so it also appears as an option in the in-cell drop down in my google sheet?

you could create a new table with the values that you need in the dropdown and use that for both appsheet and google sheet.
