App notifications on mobile phone

hi,

i created an app and deployed it, downloaded the apk file on my mobile. i have also created a firebase account and done the necessary link to my appsheet account.

however, after the notification is sent, i get it on my email but not on the app as a push notification. how do i rectify this

Does your automation use the Send a notification from an automation - AppSheet Help task or the Send an email from an automation - AppSheet Help task?

thanks, i was using send an email from an automation..once i switched to send a notification from an automation, i could receive the push notifications in my app. thanks a lot
