Subject: App Blocked - Plan Update Needed (Despite Meeting Free Plan Requirements) - (PII Removed by Staff)
Hello AppSheet Support Team,
My app is currently blocked with the following error:
“Unable to fetch app definition. Your app is blocked because a plan update is needed. You can update your plan in the Account page.”
App details:
- App name: (PII Removed by Staff)
- Account ID: (PII Removed by Staff)
- Account email: (PII Removed by Staff)
- Current plan: Free
However, I have verified the following, and none of them should trigger a plan-related block:
- Only 3 users have access to the app (well under the 10-user Free/Prototype plan limit)
- No security filters are active on any table (all show “filter: none”)
- The app’s Deployment Check shows all required checks as PASSED (App definition errors, App definition warnings, Data matches expected structure) — the app “appears ready to deploy,” with only minor optional warnings (app description, custom launch icon)
Given that my app meets all Free plan requirements, I believe this may be a system error rather than an actual plan limitation. Could you please investigate and manually unblock my app if appropriate?
