Apigee-X Proxies monitoring with Dynatrace extension

Per analysis we see following Extension for Apigee-X. In case any one experienced with same

Gives two extensions for ApigeeX (Proxies) listed below. Analysis is towards Apigee-X proxy monitoring

Dynatrace lists two extension for Apigee-X

  1. Apigee-Remotely monitor your apigee extension
  2. Google Apigee- Get insights into Google Apigee service metrics collected from the Google Operations API to ensure health of your cloud infrastructure.

Have following question on listed Apigee-X extention

Q1: First extension “Apigee-Remotely monitor your apigee extension” my initial thought was this extension may obsolete in future (due to name) ? but later the product information indicates the Release of 3.0.2 in May of this year and looks like Dynatrace is releasing updates every 2 or 3 months. Hence assuming that this will continue in future ?

Q2: Second extension “Google Apigee” was named as latest apigee-X in Google hence thought this will be right one to monitor apigee-x proxy instead of first one above.

Q3: Saw similarity between both extensions, but was not sure, which one supports a larger dictionary of metrics for apigee-x proxies ?

Q4 : Which one is the latest and what is its life (we should not install an extension that will become obsolete in future.

Q5: Listed link for Dynatrace agent (I believe this is not a extension ?)

A. Docs for agent indicates that agent used for apigee-X proxy monitoring? If above two extensions listed can collect metrics from apigee-x proxies then when i need Dynatrace agent ? ( with above listed agent in which use case) ? or can avoid Dynatrace agent , since extension 2.0 will do the monitoring of Apigee-X proxies ?
