Apigee Smartdocs Maven Plugin: publish the image together with specs

Is there a way to upload the image, or set the relative URI to an image already in the media library, for an API when publishing the specs to the portal?

If so, can you give a sample config JSON?

I’m using apigee-smartdocs-maven-plugin version 2.1.1 with Drupal 8.9.x.
