APIGEE - Sizing Private Cloud for VM deployment

Hello,

I have a few questions for installation requirements for on-premise deployment of a production environment with 9-node topology:

  1. Does a VM = Node ? and therefore the Router and the Message Processor of a single node are on the same VM or 2 VM ?

  2. If the machine (physical or virtual) requirements for:

  • 1 Router is 16 GB of RAM and 8 Core of CPU
  • 1 Message Processor is 16 GB of RAM and 8 Core of CPU,

Must the size of the VM which will contain the Router and the Message Processor have 32 GB of RAM and 16 Core of CPU?

  1. The router and message processor in 9 node will be installed on the same VM that is one node.

( but there is no restriction to use a separate router and message processor)

  1. If the router and message processor are in the same node minimum requirement is 8core/16GB.

If you increase to higher then processing will be more faster.
