When setting an Apigee Edge Portal, I am having an issue to set the specs for products containing multiple proxies.
a product may contain multiple proxies
a spec is relative to one proxy
Why can we then only assign a single spec to a product in the portal configuration? How to set the spec for a product containing more than one proxy? Do I have to create “product specs” that would be the concatenation of each proxy’s spec contained in the product?
You will need to merge your specs for your API product.

This is not a sustainable solution…
Unfortunately, at this time, you can only apply one spec to a product, not to individual proxies within the product. I believe this is on the roadmap to update.
A work around would be to have different products with the same set of proxies, but each product has the different specs you want to control.
You mentioned that having multiple specs with one API Product on portal is on product roadmap in 2019. Is there any update on this feature or workaround on cloud based light weight portal?
This is a known feature ask for Apigee that we are aware of - unfortunately at this time I don’t have a further update to share. The previously shared workarounds of manually merging the specs or creating more API products for each spec are both suboptimal workarounds but may alleviate the severity of the problem in the short term. We remain actively aware of the experience and will share more details on resolution as they become available.
