API Design in APIGEE

Hello,

Currently we are in phase of designing multiple microservices, those microservices will be used as backend for APIGEE. challenge we are facing is to design API for this microservices and it is initial phase for api design.

main features to add-on is logging, security, error handling.

can someone help me with the template, what all detail required initially to gather from user-story/client in order to move ahead in designing these API proxy.

You need to gather information like

  1. what security feature the client wants

  2. What is the traffic limit is preferred

  3. what logging properties they want

  4. How long the analytics is required

  5. If security is oauth then which type, access token expiry time, refresh token expiry time

  6. what custom errors can be exposed
